A passage of time.

I really did want to keep up with my blog, but things have gotten in the way. My grandmother passed on January 1, 2009; she made it through to the New Year and said "enough's enough!" She had over 98 good years and lived life the way she wanted it. She got her final wish which was to die in the bed in which her own mother had died many, many years before. We should all be so lucky. She will be very missed. Don't forget to tell those whom you love that you do indeed love them. I love you all.

I need a plumber!!

I guess I didn't please the Gods as well as I had I thought!.....the damned plumbing has backed up..... any volunteers to help? you don't have to look or work like this either, but it will certainly help when it comes time for your tip!

Returned from Flagstaff. I must have pleased the Gods over the year as the weather was wonderful for the drives to and from. Now Christmas Day was another story altogether. The snow was measured in feet, not inches, on my uncle's lawn! The food was wonderful and the company very pleasant. A good time had by all. Hope your holiday was as good as mine.

One Whole Year

I can hardly believe it's been an entire year since I put one of only three entries on this blog. Let's hope I can remember how to even make an entry. I'm off to Arizona for Christmas and will return over the weekend. We'll see what I can come up with after my return. I wish everyone a lovely holiday and an even more wonderful New Year. I'm off to Texas for the holiday and will return on Thursday, just in time for yet another foot surgery on Friday morning...what a way to start the New Year! I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday, whatever variety you celebrate.

Okay, so I'm worthless at this blogging thing. I can't think of anything interesting to say! LOL Anyway, I've just bought this Steven Corry painting and I really do like it. The photo does not do it justice.
